Ravindra Babu Veguri

Born in 1983 in Andhra Pradesh. Veguri Ravindra Babu did his Bachelor of Fine Arts from Andhra University at Vishakhapatnam. He proceeded to complete his Master of Fine Arts from Jamia University, New Delhi in 2008. He was awarded HRD National Scholarship in 2006. He has participated in several solo and group exhibitions since 2003. He held solo and group exhibitions at the Department of Fine Arts, Andhra University in 2006. In July 2009 he conducted a solo exhibition at the elite European Business Group event at the Taj Mahal Hotel in Mumbai. February 2011 witnessed an exposition of his Installation on Noise Pollution titled Aspiring Reconciliation at the Kala Ghoda Arts Festival, Mumbai. This was followed by a solo show of his Installation and Paintings at High Street, Phoenix, Lower Parel, Mumbai in April 2011. His artworks have been exhibited in various group shows in different parts of India and the Department of Fine Arts, Andhra University in the years 2003 to 2006. In Bangalore at the Leela Galleria on April 2010. Moving upwards to Mumbai - at the Aura Art Inaugural Show at Nehru Centre in January 2008, followed by group exhibitions at Raghuvanshi Mills, Lower Parel and Bombay Exhibition Centre both in the same year.

HOM Art Trans
HOM Art Trans is an independent art space that seeks to assist and support the development of visual art in Malaysia and facilitates networking with the Southeast Asian counterparts.

HOM’s core objective is to promote Malaysia Art and nurture young artists through its key programmes, namely: The Residency, The Art Fund, and The Art Award.

Founded in 2007, the artist-run-space currently comprises of a gallery, a studio and an art archive.
